Improving Understanding Of Incurable Neuromuscular Disease In New Genetically Engineered Mouse Model

This article is interesting because it talks about two issues covered in our class, genetically modified organisms and the peripheral nervous system.  Scientists are now trying to use mice to determine the cause of certain diseases and how to better understand the disease. The discussion of genetically modified organisms fits nicely in to the debates we had in lecture, not only about GMOs but also human experimentation and the other alternatives available.
