Texas has just allowed the use of adult stem cells to treat individual patients given the condition that each patient is aware that they are part of the research being done on stem cells and a review board has allowed the use. While the new measure isn't completely regulating the research and use of stem cells, it is the first step taken to do so; at the moment research and use of adult stem cells has no set of regulations to govern them.
