New Type of Cell With a Key Role in Treatment-Resistant Asthma

The University of Michigan have made some interesting findings in terms of developing new treatments for people with asthma.  They have found a new cell in mice that is crucial in causing asthma symptoms.  However, they aren't totally sure what causes these cells in humans and they are still studying and trying to figure this out.  They are hoping to do more studies with human subjects in order to see the effects this has on humans.
