How can Exercise Prime Brain for Addiction

It has been proven that those who exercise regularly are less likely to abuse drugs and alcohol. But a new study reveals that exercise may actually make it more difficult to break an addiction. In this study, one group of mice was sedentary and the other ran freely. They were then exposed to cocaine. The running mice broke their coke addiction slower when the other group and continued to hand out in the area where they were originally exposed to the cocaine. It is thought that exercise stimulates reward centers in brain.
