A new study using 182 Vietnam War veterans with localized brain injuries shows much about intellectual functioning. Looking at CT scans of the unique participants, it was shown that the left prefrontal cortex, left temporal cortex, and left parietal cortex were locations for general intelligence. This study shows that general intelligence isn't just one spot in the brain but many, interconnected regions. What's more this study shows much about the biological basis of intelligence.
